Horse share wanted

Ok, so starting to get withdrawal symptoms! I'm starting to look for a horse share, ideally 16.2hh plus and no fine tb's. I have my own, very good eventer who I compete at novice level, although he is experienced so I'm not saying I'm brilliant. I have also reasonably successfully brought on two 6yr olds. All I'm looking for is a horse to ride. Doesn't need to be perfect (I don't do rearers though), don't mind doing stable duties. Would need to be reasonably accessable to liverpool (am at uni there) and reasonably flexible. I am happy to hack, would love a bit of competing but absoloutely not essential. Any suggestions? Looking to share rather than loan as I cannot do a horse every day.

Have you tried asking round at uni. My daughter was considering taking her horse and sharing him with someone but decided against it in the end. But there were a couple of vet students in her year who were also talking about taking horses. Have you thought about joining the University Riding Club. Some time in the first few weeks you will probably visit a riding school for animal handling, try asking there. Incidentally my daughter found this hilarious, they were shown how to put headcollars on etc! Good luck, and hope you are settling in ok now.
