Hi, I am going to look at a potential horse share and just wonder if anyone can offer advice as to questions I should ask etc. The current situation asked for was 3 rides/week for £80 contribution/month. I think that I could only manage twice a week so should the contributuion affect this?
How does the situation of insurance work-I aways had 3rd party insurance with my horses and think its quite important but some people may think it unnecessary? Any other advice would be much appreciated, thanks

I think with the contribution if you dont ask you dont get so maybe see if they'll reduce. It really depends on the set up, stabled competition horse on nice livery yard £80 might be a bargin, same money for a happy hacker out at grass
might be considered expensive. If you think you can add value i.e your an experienced rider or can do chores and save livery fees then maybe point this out.

Pet Plan do a rider only insurance. I have it mainly for the third party. I would not contemplate setting foot outside without it. But it also covers tack and some vet fees. Its about £90 per year so not too expensive.
