I did look and to be honest to get something of that height that is safe to hack and within your age bracket for £1K I think you maybe pushing things I found a few 13-13.3hh's but not 14.3 plus... You could try the rescue centres and see if they know of or have anything?

Cow far could the budget stretch? I know of the perfect mare who fits that description, but owner is looking for around £2200.

Anya is a 12 year old Registered Liver Chestnut Mare, She has also been DNA tested and Parentage tested.

She loves to Work and Ride out on Hacks.
