Hi ya
I have a very very good friend who lost her wonderful super star mare 18 months ago.
Since then she had taken up a loan horse that for various reaosns is causing her some issues. The loan horse might (and only MIGHT at this stage) be going back to its owner and my friend is very slowly getting to a place that says she might want to own again.
So to give her an idea of whats out there, can any of you who like shopping help?

Heres the criteria:
Must be over 16HH as she likes bigger horses
Must be talented SJ - she jumps for one of the armed services teams and competes at 1.20m+ type heights
Ideally talented XC also - she likes to do the odd XC and armed forces one day event
Sex unimportant
Colour unimportant
Breeding irrelevant as long as it can do the job
She can ride like a dream so anything quirky wont put her off (NOTE: rearing up and throwing itself on the ground type thing I don't class as "quirky"!!) Current loan horse is a total nutter that pro riders have sent back and her mare was no saint when she got her either so shes not afraid of a challenge!
Decent ground manners would be good only because other people would have to look after it on assisted livery.
We're in Lincolnshire but I'm sure for the right one she'd go wherever.
Budget I'm not sure of but I wouldn't go above £6K and the further away from that the better!

Any one fancy a look?

Shame this wasnt posted a week ago. Friend has just sold something that would have been brilliant. Young but sensible, done a bit of everything with bags of talent to go on. Sold at half the budget your looking at because friend is pregnant. Mind you we are the other end of the country to you!!

Sounds like your friend wouldnt struggle to find something especially if that was her price range.

My friend has a mare she is looking to sell, she has dressage and SJ bloodlines (World Cup/Dynamo), out of a dutch mare.

She's black, about 17hh, 8yrs old but quite green and has a huge jump and a temperament to die for. She's in Kent just past the Dartford Tunnel. And would be around £5 or £6k.

PM me if you want details as I say it's not my mare!

I don't suppose your friends horse was sold to the first viewer was it? Friend said she saw one yesterday she really liked but it was sold to the first viewer.

Well, not sure if it was the first or the second viewer but two people came at the weekend. Both wanted him, one had him vetted and he was gone by the following Sat. He's colured, 5yrs old, standing at about 16.1hh. Not sure if it would be the same one or not? But i thought he was lovely :)
