Amy Derber seems to have that type in and has a good reputation as far as I’m aware, pretty sure she’s m4-ish direction

Any other good dealers people can mention / recommend? I'm sure there must be a few. I've got a bit stuck on knowing where to look.

Sadly, I gave up looking and bought off video from Ireland. Always said I wouldn't do it. I blame @Ambers Echo as she had just done the same and got a cracker. I got a cracker too. Not that I advise it for anyone else! I did do a lot of research first, as did AE.

I did visit the yard I linked to, above, (Gemini Sports Horses) and the horses seemed to be as advertised. Just not quite what I wanted. They were not the most expensive.

I was going to visit Jack Thomas Watson, more spendy but he does have some nice ones in. The day I was due to go, it was blowing a gale and he suggested it wasn't a great day to try riding. It was extreme weather. I think the budget would have to be bigger though.

I contacted Christina Foley, MPF Horse Talent. It was bizarre, as I saw one I liked, was prepared to jump in the car and go straight there for a quick ride, then vet and pay and... she said she prefers to sell off video. I couldn't understand the reluctance to someone having a quick sit (would have been happy with an hour of her time) and was not prepared to buy off video for a horse I could easily have visited. She did say I could come and have a ride if he hadn't sold by X date, but he did.

The place in Ireland I bought from, she was happy for me to jump on a plane and come to visit, was welcoming. I planned to do just that, a plane was only about £40 return at that time. However, someone was coming to visit that day, so I simply bought then and there, subject to vet!

He was only 4, but would have been within your budget, even at peak Covid time.

Thank you Red. There's one possible that's popped up and she's messaged. We've soon realised that the good ones get snapped up within seconds it seems! At least we know we're on the right track and after the good ones!! lol

Julia Martin at Kings Hill Equestrian in Bolney near Hickstead has a good reputation and has horses in on a regular basis. Lots of Riding Club/Pony Club types.

I know an extremely trustworthy person in Cheshire. Will typically only have 1 in at a time, so not a big selection but 100% straight. Pm me if you want a name.
