Hi All,
Wondering if anyone uses a portable shower for the horses that is not one of the gas powered ones? I do have one but the flame blows out at the slightest gust of wind and I live in a very windy area.
I don’t have any hot water at the yard, but I do have electrical points. I don’t won’t one which would be permanently fixed, I would want to be able to put it away when I’m done with it.
Any ideas?
Many thanks

Easiest might be something like a mobiwasher, has a water tank(17litre) with 12v rechargeable battery and jet nozzle with good length hose. Totally portable. Need to fill with warm water as does not heat it itself, but that’s easily achievable with a kettle, and top up to required temperature.
Mine love it, and easily transported to shows etc.

We have a shower at our yard which is a gas canister but due to the cost the YO bought one of those great big Burco Boilers they use in the catering industry. Its raised off the floor on a trolley, she fills with water the night before and asks someone who is down the yard early the next day to switch on, within 30 minutes its boiling water which she can then dispense into a water bucket and bath that way.

Realise this isn't what you were asking but thought it was a brilliant idea for those who want something relatively portable and easy to use.
