I'd really like to go for some horse simulator lessons to really work on my position and be able to assess it and fix it right in the moment! I'm aware of lots of places that have them but am keen to go somewhere where the quality of instruction is good too!

Any suggestions? I'm based on the Oxon/Bucks border and willing to travel a couple of hours if necessary.

Thanks

Becky Chapman at Ashen EC! :) You'll find reviews on here if you search old threads.

I went to Overdale EC which is a RWYM centre in Nether Westcote near Burford, Oxfordshire. Great place and beautiful location.

Thank you all.

What is the instruction like at Cullinghood? I knew they had a simulator but wasn't sure if the teaching was any good?

Not heard of Becky Chapman but will look into her although think she's a bit of a trek from me.

Had already found Overdale but wasn't sure if they were any good, so it's good to hear some positive feedback :)

I've done simulator sessions at both Overdale and Cullinghood.

The horse at Cullinghood I found much better, you get a visual feedback screen whereas the Overdale one goes to a computer.

The key is the instruction. I didn't really 'get' the whole RWYM thing, it was all a bit fluffy for me.

There is an external instructor (Liza Faircloth) who goes to Cullinghood, she is good for all round position work
