Did a dressage test on my mare for the first time in many months. Our usual comment is "needs to be more forward" but after working hard on this, we got "lovely active paces". Hurray! However, horse is now snorting frequently (she does this when schooling too sometimes). She then pulls me forward and contact goes to pieces. She has always done this in canter but now also in canter. Any thoughts on what is going on and how to deal with it anyone please?

Many horses have a bit of a snorting session as they relax into work and it is generally a positive sign. But if she is snorting continually during work in an outline I would want to get her checked by a vet in case there is an obstruction or something in her sinuses?

Re-reading - she could also be snorting in annoyance or in more pain elsewhere. I think you probably need to get a proper assessment by a qualified instructor and possibly also a vet.
