does anyone know where my friend stands?
When my said friend (will call her bex for now as wishes to remain annoymus) was 11 her instructer took her to a horse auction where she saw a skinny dales pony going for meat and he captured her heart. this pony came into ring whilst her instructer had popped out and "bex" couldn't resist biding she brought this pony for £30 when her instructor came back he agreed that he would sign for him as seh was to young. When they returned back to yard it was agreed that the 'bex's' farther would become the legal owner. this girl was smitten in love and spent every day with this horse whom she names toby. she earnt his trust and transformed him for a nervous skinny pony scared of people to a fantastic all rounder. By the time bex was 14 she'd qualified for royal london showing and was jumping 4foot 9 (toby was only 14hh) however her farther who she only spent one week a month with had become more and more aggresive and toby was her time when she could feel safe. then one weekend when i was at her fathers a row started and he burnt all her trophies etc infront of bex and a fight started and bex was hosptalised for 6days. when i came out of hospital she discovered that her farther had sold toby for £10,000 she was heartbroken, her best friend sold her farther was legal has toby was owned by him (according to passport) a court hearing happened because of injures bex had recieved and during the court her farther gave her £30 and said that was for the horse.
The money not the issue but bex wondered is she entitled to anything (like number of new owners) as she did all work with toby?
