Horse Straights... will your horse eat them?

I have been feeding mine supplements from Trinity Consultants which I have found very good, but the cost is very high and with four I was looking for alternatives. Horse Straights seem to advertise a lot and I read up on it and saw the reviews and thought I'd try them.
I tried the electrolytes, the EMS support and the vitamins and minerals supplement and my four rather non fussy ponies would not touch any of them. So, that didn't save much money!!
Has anyone else had this experience... or are mine, in fact, fussy after all??
 
If I need to get supplements in to a horse who's not eating them I usually add sugar beet or a bit of sloppy Saracen mash. Mix it all up and it seems to help a lot. And maybe just introduce one new supplement at a time? Apologies if you've tried all that and it's still not worked.

Thank you, yes... you make a good point. I tried tiny bits at first (and the different supplements were for different ponies so not all at once.)
It was just that all the reviews I read were saying people's horses loved them, so that what I was curious about. They always ate their other supplements... the L94 they really like! It's just that sometimes the expense of having horses is a challenge!!
 
Oh I know! Mine was chucking his Buted feed all over the floor and I wanted to scream. However a more delicious mash appears to have been the answer. Which is a relief, as I'm about to add twenty ground up Paracetamol to the Bute
 
Sometimes, now we've got the horsey social media groups... it helps to know that there are fellow sufferers out there 🤣 especially at this time of year when your non horsey friends look at you as if you're insane!!
