H&h article. Shows a gateway with mud over a metre deep. What on earth is anyone doing letting a horse anywhere near that deep mud, apparently has to walk through it to get from one field to another. Owners need prosecution for keeping it in an unsafe environment. Then again it's mid Wales near me. Anything goes.

Completely agree I've seen some terrible photos. Theres a couple of horses in the village who live on a quarter acre of mud and it slopes. She has mats down but it's still all mud, made into a tight narrow track system with no shelter other than a tree in the middle. They live there all year round. People complain. I don't know if the RSPCA have called but I would be suprised. The owner does a job which involves vets something to do with scanning or something, anyway it's amazing how she gets away with it. You'd think she'd know better.

unpopular opinion alert:

the horses living out FB page has several posters who living conditions for their horses are bordering on a welfare issue IMO.

but because they aren't "locked in cages" and are " living naturally" its ok.......it really effing isn't!
agreed, I am considering Kiki living out if he is declared broken at his vets visit next week but the thought of that much mud really puts me off, I just couldnt do it

Do we actually know this horse was turned out in the field? A lot of people are saying it was being ridden when it got stuck.
