Hi Guys,
I'm back again aha!
This time I have a query with regards to supplements -
I always try and feed my lad as natural as possible as he has a myriad of health issues, so I need to be able to pinpoint exactly what and why I'm feeding it in case of an incident/flare up with one of his many issues.
I have been looking at MSM, Glucosamine, Spirulina and Biotin - however I've noticed that Spirulina is considerably cheaper in "human" supplement form.
Is there any difference between horse and human supplements? I'm assuming that as long as the supplement is organic that there isn't much difference, apart from one is marketed for horses and therefore has the associated "horse tax" that we all joke about - is this the case? If not I'm more than happy to pay for the equine version even though it'll be more expensive.
I'm just trying to work out most cost effective ways of supplementing/feeding as I have another horse en route at some point this year and some aspects of the horsey lifestyle will go up inevitably, but where I can save to put towards other aspects of the horsey lifestyle I'd like to do so
