Last time I saw something like that the stitches had given way 4 days after a colic op-everything 'fell out' and horse was pts. Beautiful big 2 year old colt, such a shame, he was recovering wonderfully too!

Nasty! I wasn't sure that trying to stuff it all back in with probably dirty hands was wise, but can't have done him any harm.

Strong horse! Glad he survived!

Oh my, that is horrific. Never seen anything like it. Poor horse, especially when the guy started trying to stuff it back in!! Amazing that the horse recovered.

I thought it incredible that he survived as equines are very susceptible to peritonitis/septicaemia! Great that he wasn't automatically pts and was given a chance

Glad the horse survived and probably only did as it seemed to be some of the hind gut which came out and horses can loose quite a bit if this and still survive allthough it didn't look too happy to have the men near it in the second video!
