I hope this isn't against forum rules but not sure where else to start.... Ok so I have a 4 yr old 16.3 hh gelding that I bred myself. He is proving to be a bit of a challenge and unfortunately I think he is just going to be too much for me, I am getting older and am not as confident as I once was. He was professionally broken and ridden away last year, just being brought back into work and needs bringing on, still very green. I was just wondering if anyone brave might be interested in a swap for something quieter which they might find boring?! He is a real quality athletic horse and lovely to handle on the ground.

This is complicated further as he has a technical lameness issue (fibrotic myopathy) this means that he may not be suitable for dressage as he looks a bit odd in walk as one hind leg doesn't track up, BUT trot & canter are not affected. This can be operated on but vet says not to bother as he isn't in any pain. He would make a super show jumper or Hunter as loves jumping which is odd as he has dressage breeding, he is by Carl Hesters Olympic ride Uthopia. I am in Leicestershire. Good home a priority. No dealers please. If anyone would be potentially interested please pm me and we can go into all the details.

Great advert lol

Anyway..... Does anybody want to swap my wonderful, sane, generous, kind horse for a raving lame lunatic?

Seriously OP I think you would be best just selling your well bred but lame young horse or p ex at a dealer
