Does anyone know of any horse swimming pools in the suffolk/ cambridgeshire area?? I know College of west Anglia have a hydrotherapy center with an aqua treadmill but ideally i'm after a swimming pool. I thinking as i'm so close to Newmarket with billions of racehorses there must be one somewhere but a google search is coming up with not a lot!
I have a warmblood who wasnt a huge fan of getting his feet wet eventing last year so i'm thinking as he is recovering from a tendon injury; swimming will help him get over his reluctance to move through water whilst also helping his recovery. I do plan on taking him to the beach to play in the water but there's no point in me doing this until he can at least do some trot work which if all things go to plan wont but until july/aug time!
I am thinking way ahead of myself as he isn't due to be back in work for another 6 weeks but i just want to plan a few things to do with him over the summer
