Horse Tattoos - Lets see yours?

am not normally a great fan but muffinino I love your pegasus

LOVE that phoenix Muffino - think one of the nicest I have ever seen.

I have one tat and that's enough for me - still very happy with it 15 years later - sorry not a horse one so nothing to show. Dunno why people are so opinionated about tattoos, they seem to polarise people so much!

QR: I think you are all exceptionally brave to have a tattoo. I certainly never would !!

My children often talk about tattoos, my daughter wants a dolphin (when she is older) although I have warned her that it will look like a beached whale when she is my age !!

Odd isnt it?
What has what one person does to their body got to do with anyone esle?

I would LOVE to have one done, dont give a sh1t about my stretch marks(I got them getting my son, more a badge of honer then something to be ashamed of IMO!) and I very much dount any man that wants to see you naked once you are so old you sag will be put off by a saggy tattoo
grin.gif

I love tattoos and have a few myself - makes me laugh the way people whine on about how it will look when you are older - I don't know about anyone else, but I don't spend my life worrying about trivial stuff like that, and it is a bit sad if you ask me!

Love the phoenix tattoo - I have a huge snake on my arm.

Sorry but I think any one who has tattoos must be bonkers.

And I think you are bonkers.

I have no basis for this view, I am just prejudiced, narrow minded and give my opinions where they are not asked for.

ROFLMAO! I swear I almost spat my (very late) breakfast out!

I admire the good artwork

. I don't have tats as: a) I don't have a pain threshold so much as a pain dip (I am a total wuss!), and b) I get bored easily and would want to change/move it! Hence they are not my thing at all. No doubt daughters will want them, but as it is their lives, when they are old enough they will do what they want

.

Wish I'd known about belly button rings when I was young though as I had a wickedly good stomach back then
grin.gif
Now I wouldn't be able to find it

Ah well.

Look forward to seeing some more pictures

I always find the "it'll-look-rubbish-when-you're-old" argument to be completely irrelevant. When you are that old that your skin has started sagging and bagging, no one will be looking at you on the beach anyway, and I doubt you'll still be wearing a bikini, so who cares anyway?

Still, I don't understand tattoos, or why anyone would want one. I have three friends who have had their horses tattooed on to their skin, and every single one of them looks terrible; the art work is awful, a dreadful depiction of what could be a horse, but who knows....? The tattoos that have been shown on this thread are, in my opinion, not great either, but each to their own.

I think it may be better to get a nice painting done of your horse, instead of having it permanently etched in to your skin. If the tattoo person is not brilliant, you are left with a constant reminder of someone else's mistake......

I don't know how old YOU are but some of us "oldies" (I am 57 and have a 26 inch waist) do still wear bikinis on the beach and are not that hideous to look at. Also, we do, sometimes, get the occasional sideways glance which tells us that yes, we ARE, still, looking good.
Personally, I find overweight "youngsters", wearing crop tops, paired with the most awful spare tyres around their middle, no muscle tone whatsoever, with seriously droopy boobs and wearing an ill-fitting (and sometimes no) bikini top, far more hideous to look at than an elegant, slim, middle-aged lady. JUST REMEMBER - YOU, ALSO, WILL BE WELL OVER THE AGE OF 21 AT SOME POINT IN YOUR LIFE.

Sorry to bump this thread back up, but I was doing a tattoo search for my daughter, as I wanted to show her the phoenix one.

Blackcob, your retort was priceless!!
