Horse Teddy Bears...

Babycob would love a teddy bear to destroy!

Buckets are fair game, treatballs get trashed and we had to fence off the water butt by the shelter because he trashed it - must have got soaked in the process but that didn't stop him. Can't leave anything within reach of him if you value it.

My horse has a suede horse with a plastic bottle inside, which my grandparents bought for him. They aren't horsey and they were buying a toy for my dog for Christmas, saw these and thought horses liked toys same as dogs do. He uses it to scratch his nose sometimes

I'm afraid one of my horses has the carrot toy hanging in his stable, he's chewed the arms and legs off it and still plays with it, you can't leave anything in or near the stable with him as it is straight in his mouth.

That is really lovely. Mr P's mum buys christmas presents for each of the dogs and last year, for the first time the cat too She hates horses though so I doubt we will progress to that!

We had an orphan foal who had a huge teddy bear for company for a couple of days (felt like a life time) while we were finding a surrogate mare (before the days of SM). We had to remove it from the stable when the mare arrived though as she was scared of it. Luckily the foal was more interested in his new mum than his teddy bear.

I have seen giant teddies used for orphan foals.
