Horse Thieves, Derbyshire

I've heard from a friend today that there was a failed attempt to steal some horses from a field in Morley, Derbyshire. It appears that the culprits were disturbed and therefore went away without any horses but I just wanted to pass this info on to as many people as possible.

Please be vigilant and if I find out any more details I will, of course, update.

I'm just about 5 miles away from morely.. is this the same incident with the field with broodmares and foals and a shetland as I heard there had been an attempt to get to theses horses? x

We've tightend security, but need to paint the horses freezemarks on their rugs and put the signs up. Hope all are okay.

Yes it was broodmares and youngstock.
