Last tuesday we came back from our morning hack and found a young man trying to mount on one of our youngsters back.. Obviously concerned we tied our horses up and the young man walked towards saying before you say anything can i explain.... Apparently the youngster had caught his foot in the fence.. Well we walked over and there was no where or mark where the horse would have done anything...

He then ran off. We checked the horses over and seen he had shaved the hair off the foot and shoulder of both youngsters and also been threw our trailers and marked them 2.

Now we had the police and they said it was just trespassing because nothing was stolen yet the boy had taken a rug and a he4ad collar to take with him and the horse.

We then in a matter of 6 hours moved 6 horses and i mean 2 youngsters that have never been in box before we managed to do it... Im just warning people in the norfolk area that there is a horse sale in north tuddenham and that's probley why they are stealing them. I would like to know if anyone else has been targeted in our area.

Bloody hell!
Good job you got back from your hack when you did!!! And had somewhere to move the horses to! I am speechless :O
I am thanking my lucky stars I live in the middle of nowhere with a YO on site and a farm next door..

Sorry but horse theives wouldnt be so stupid as to mark your horse, they would come and take it,they wouldnt want to be caught now would they, nor alert the owner!!!!

someone was telling me the other day how ''them folk'' had stopped a van in the middle of a country lane, and whilst they were stopped waiting for it to move someone came up behind them and was trying to open their boxes doors!!! Her husband jumped out and started yelling and the guy cool as a cucumber said that one of the doors wasnt held properly and he was only locking them back up.

sometimes it is the bold as brass approach that is the most successful.

Lucky you got back. since the scrap's skyrocketed they are bothering us no end so all the gates have to be locked, extremely annoying!!!

Have you informed local horse watch?

Not local but my sister in law is in Wymondham, will be wondering if any of the horses I see in the field are H&H horses now!!
