My new horse (had her about 6 weeks now) sometimes throws a 'mini buck' after a jump. All her tack and saddle has been fitted for her so I am certain she is not in any discomfort. Could this be pure excitement? She loves jumping once she's warmed and can keep going and going! If this is pure excitement is there anything you can do to try stop this?

When I say 'mini buck' I mean a little skip/jump of one or two or her back legs.

My mare sometimes does this, her saddle, back and everything are also fine. I think it's just a little "yippee" buck because she is pleased with herself and I don't jump her that often :D

It could possibly be her landing disunited , or on the wrong leg ? My horse sometimes does a little flying change after a jump to go back on the right leg?
But yes, possibly just enthusiasm :D Good luck with your new ponyy :D
