horse trailer any advice?

i am currently looking on buying a trailer because i have to get other people to take me to shows and so cant always go! i am going to view one today which isnt brand new... it has a wooden floor i have heard mixed reviews on wooden floor in trailers.....some people prefer them as if you do treat them it will not rot and is cooler for the horses in the summer as to an aluminium floor. There has been someone on my yard though whose horses foot went through a wooden floor so i dont know what to think? any views or advice would be great!

wooden floors are fine if well maintained...just check it very carefully- a friend of mine's horse fell through her lorry floor and died because it wasn't safe....

I have a wooden floor in my trailer which is completely sound. As long as you look after them they will be fine.

My trailer has a wooden floor and I've had no problems with it too date, like S&J my trailer is also for sale.

They are fine if they are looked after. Aluminium floors can also fail. I have both in mine!!!!!!!!!!!
