We have a Rice Europa trailer, it's about 10 years old, has only had 2 owners - its very tidy! The problem we have with it is the catches/pins (not too sure what they are called) that hold the breast and rear bars in place im sure are not the original ones and thus they don't work as they should. They are on chains to the side of the trailer but slip off eaisly and don't go through the breast and rear bars easily, often having to unload the horse backwards as we can't get them out.

So I was really just wondering wether ther was any other kind of fitting that could be used?? Some trailers have circular catches with pins going through the middle of them, was wondering if they would fit it? Any ideas welcome!

Some pic to try and help explain it

Ifor williams clips should be ok.... they are not too dear either.

Cheapest place I have found is G T Towing... thats who I have just got my breast bar from...

Good luck!!

They are called R CLips you should be able to get them at local feed merchant that sells agricultural stuff.
