Any suggestions (apart from NFU)!? Its a Ifor 505.

It is currently insured with NFU on the car insurance but as the car insurance has increased by about 60% in one year, we are moving, therefore it can be moved onto the horse insurance but as I have claimed on one of the horses this year and the other horse in the past I am expecting that to dramatically increase too, so I will probably be moving the horses too!

They also won't insurance just the trailer.

So any suggestions please? :)

I had mine with (shock horror) E&L **people grab children, run indoors and slam the door behind them** and i found them cheap and they paid out when another livery accidentally bumped it when she was reversing.

I also think the AA do insurance so might be worth giving them a call or Direct Line?

Might also be worth checking out a local broker in your area and see if they can get you any deals...get them to to the phoning around!!!

I've got trailer insurance with Four Counties and just had renewal for £109. Never had a claim so don't know what their service is like in that department. I think you'll find all insurance has increased 25-50% this year. I shopped around for horse insurance after NFU increased my premium quite a lot but still found them cheapest (unless you go for the cheap companies that people complain about)

Id just like to post a big thank's to hudsonw for your help .
I have been looking for affordable trailer insurance for my IFOR 510 which my husband has been refurbishing. I was struggling to find anything that wasn't massively inflated, but thanks to hudsonw my trailer which was completed today ,Yipeeeeee and may I add looks fab and was worth all the blood sweat and tears ( Literally !) is now insured
