Morning Everyone
I have recently purchased what i think is bayhill trailer. Never owned a trailer before so this is all new. Now looking at it i think it looks a bit small for my horse. hes 16h and the internal dimensions of the trailer are 210cm high,150cm wide,310cm long. Someone suggested using it without the partition and just getting breast and breach bars fitted? What are peoples opinions, should i just resell the trailer ad get a bigger one or go with the partition removal? Kind Regards

I have a Bahill and I travel my 14hh in it without partition. For a 16hh it would be better taking partition out. IMO they're ideal for travelling two ponies but not wide enough for two big horses.

Thankyou everyone for your comments. I think I'll stick with trailer and just remove the partition. Hopefully it will be tall enough ?! :)

As someone who owns a iwt 505 and a 16.2hh horse, technically she should fit in there, realistically it's too small for her. I now wish I'd bought the bigger trailer, so my advice really would be to go with the biggest trailer you can, after all why would you risk putting her off travelling by squashing her in a too small trailer?

Oddly though although the width and length is different on the 506/511 the height is the same.

506 is 7ft, 511 is 7ft 6

Do you travel with the partition?

Not according to their website the internal height is 2.26metres on both of them.

I have travelled her both with and without the partition - she fits in fine with the partition but I travel her without to give her extra room.
