hi there im a newbie on here and i was wondering which trailer would any one recommend between an ifor williams and a bateson deauville the thing that puts me off an ifor is that they seem very stealable

I have a bateson and love it, easy, lightweight and everything I have travelled in it from 11.2hh to 17hh has travelled really well. I have the Ascot model and having a built in tack box which does not intrude into the horses space is a godsend(no tack in the car!) I used to have an Ifor Williams trailer but much prefer the Bateson having done many miles in both

I have an old rice, which I purposly brought it with the hope it would be less stealable as my yard was in an extremely isolated position. Touch wood it has not been stolen to date! I think its about 30 years old! when I brought it I had a pheneal floor put in and a brake overhaul done. I have actually grown very fond of the old thing but best of all it doesn't look half as appealing to thieves as a shiny new ifor!
