Has anyone got a Horse Trainer Treadmill or know of someone who has? If you have, who does your repairs and servicing?

We bought one from Horse Trainer when there was an agent for them in the Uk. Now if we need anything repairing, we have to get someone from Denmark to come out and do the work which costs an arm and a leg! :(

The bearings have gone on the wheel that the belt goes around and its going to cost thousands to get it repaired. Anyone got any cheaper ideas or has anyone got a treadmill mechanic that they can recommend? :)

I can't resist this & on the plus side it will bump your question for you. Putting your Horse trainer on a treadmill sometimes sounds a great idea, might stop them nagging.

:D:D

I would try a good mechanical engineer - I doubt a treadmill is rocket science, have a ring around and I am sure you will find someone. Start by asking at your local agricultural tools/merchants.

Lol Yes I have one and they are not rocket science. The best people to service them are those that contract within the sawmilling industry as these treadmills are just adapted timber conveyors. In your case where the bearing has failed the real risk is damage to the belt but again these sawmilling people can sort that also

Any competent agricultural mechanic should be able to sort that. Speak to your local tractor dealers. The bearing will have a manufacturer's name and part number on it. Just think how many different machines there are on the average farm, all by different manufacturers, and then imagine how expensive it would be to get a specialist out every time something broke down! A bearing is no big deal, or shouldn't be.
