Can anyone recomend a trainer/breaking yard in shropshire as i will be sending off my rising 4yr old this summer.
Also if you know their prices per week that would be really helpfull as it,s been years since i have had a youngster started i need to start saving now and would like an idea on the amount i shall need.
Also need to know if the yard will take ponies as he is only 14hh.

Underhill riding stables is not far from the boarder but is in wales. We had a horse from Telford go there not long ago to be started.

I think its about £100 a week but as far as i know thats the going rate everywhere. I think they do a really good job, and a lot of people who have used them will highly recomend them.

This is their website http://www.underhillridingstables.co.uk/

They can collect the horse too if need be and are very welcoming.

Good luck

I'm on the Shropshire/Worcestershire border 3 miles from Cleobury Mortimer.) If he's a reasonably stocky type we can take a 14 hh as I have a lightweight jockey.

Usually takes 3-4 weeks - and we charge £130 a week for ponies (as they eat less!
