Horse Transport How Much Do You Expect to Pay

It would depend on a number of things: Are they the only horses on the lorry or is it shared transport? Is the transporter a professional firm with a massive lorry who were already heading in that direction on a regular route and only had to do a small diversion to pick up the horses? Or are we talking about someone with a small Horsebox who is a one lorry business?

Just one horse box business just 2 horses going and empty box way back so 180 miles round. Usually use shared load transporters but need it doing on a particular day no stop offs. Just not sure why much this way would usually cost?

Last time I did a 'one way' it was with a lical transporter so had to pay there and back - it was £320, but he knocked £20 off as the horse wouldn't load so we came back empty. I decided that it'd work out cheaper to buy my own :)

I paid £204 to transport one horse on a shared load with an international transporter for a 116mile one-way trip, and I've paid about £180 for a 50mile round-trip one horse transport (lady with a 3.5tonne lorry) so I'd guess you'd be looking at a ballpark figure of £300?
