Horse transport (lorry) to move pony from Princethorpe to Warwic

Cannot recommend them highly enough. It's like a horsey bus! chuckle. When we used it last, my little shetland was travelling with the queens highland ponies who were on their way from Balmoral to Windsor and we got picked up and dropped off on route.

Lovely people to deal with, you can call all the way through your horses transportation if you need to! And really lovely lorries. Fab service.

I would second Gillies for professionalism and used them to bring a four year old down from the borders last year; the driver Clive was brilliant at handling a rather raw youngster. HOWEVER, Princethorpe to Warwick is probably less than ten miles, so suspect they would not be interested.......but do by all means ring them and ask the question. If the answer is no, they may well be able to recommend you someone closer to home who would do a short journey. Alternatively, have you thought of hiring a self-drive lorry and doing it yourself?

The other thing to bear in mind about Gillies is that they normally use large 10 horse transporters, so you need to have adequate room for them for turning or if not be happy to load your horse on nearest roadside.

Oh yes - good point about the turning of the large lorries. I do have to walk mine to and from the lorry as he can't turn up our long drive.

Ah - I didn't realise the distance of travel was so small! chuckle. Mind you, I only needed mine moving 30 miles last time ... so you might be deemed worthy if they are passing your door. They are so helpful, I'm sure they won't mind you enquiring. xxx
