Horse transport needed North East/West

Hi,

I am looking for a company/person that is safe and responsible. I need a horse transporting from the Manchester region up to Northumberland.

Does anyone know any decent companies? I know I could trawl the internet but word of mouth is usually the best way to find someone reliable.

We have an LGV but would prefere to use a professional for long distance hauls.

We used Blue Rose (Lancashire based) to bring our lad from Ross on Wye to Cheshire. His previous owner recommended them and they were lovely with him. Very patient (he hadn't travelled in a box in years, just trailers) and very concerned for his welfare. I'd use them again.

How odd - in a few days time we will be taking a horse from Durham to Manchester!

We have booked with Hall's in Frodsham, Cheshire who have been excellent (so far!) and definately seemed the best when we did our research.

I used Blue Rose too no problems; Gillies based in the Borders are very good too. Or Pam Grossick - based in DUmfriesshire.....safe travelling

P&C Transport based in Ulgham Northumberland (next to Blue Sky) picked us up and took us to Lancashire to pick our new 3 year old up who had never boxed before. Would highly recommend, as he was patient and proffesional and chatted to us all the way there and back, and the CCTV was fascinating. Reasonable price at £210 for the journey. No 07801513466
