Horse transport - Nottingham

Hi,

I'm looking at taking my pony for short break but don't have my own box/trailer.

Can anyone recommend a horse transport company or a self hire (Cat B not B+E)?

I've used LOC transport and they are brilliant- you'll find them on the Internet, and also hired from atacanter - also have a website. Very efficient

As you only have cat B then you will probably be looking at a 3.5 tonne horsebox

The reason I say that is because you will either need a trailer with a plated MAM that fits in with your current vehicle or hiring a vehicle and trailer that conforms to B licence towing rules

I have never heard of horse trailer hire companies that could assist you with either of those but I have heard of some that tell you it is ok to do this or that without knowing the rules for B licence towing so beware!!!
