Horse transport to Germany - any suggestions?

Can anyone recommend a good transporter to take a horse to Germany?

I've had quotes from ETA & John Parker, but the prices weren't very reasonable. Some belongings need to be taken with the horse - rugs, a couple of big plastic boxes with belongings inside... they're quoting an extra £500 just to take some belongings!!!

Thanks for suggesting ones that I've already tried ) - in my original post! It's the thought that counts though those two were both around £1000, which is just too much money. To take some rugs and a couple of boxes with him, they want to charge for an entire extra horse's cost, thereby doubling the price.

Why dont you look at an alternative for shipping the belongings eg airfreighting them. The space contraint is pretty usual.

You could try Harold at Lusk transport. I think he would collect on route to Germany from Ireland.
