horse transport

I am moving back to the uk and am bringing my horse with me.
I am receiving some very high quotes for transport from greece to the uk.
have any of you done this route before and can give me any recommendations for transport companies?
also has anyone ever dealt with this company before?

John parker are very good - took my sisters mare to and from sweden. I used bba shipping to bring mine to the UAE and they were excellent. Have friends who recommend pedens too.

Greece won't be a regular run (unlike germany, holland, denmark etc) so will cost more but if they find another horse for you to share a load with at least partway it will be cheaper.
