How much do you think will cost to transport a horse to the vet?
It is about 30 miles far.

I would look at around £1.30 to £1.50 per mile. Please ensure you use a properly registered and insured transporter.

There would be a minimum charge to pay plus milage. You may have to pay a waiting time aswell while your horse is examined & treated prior to the return journey. You can phone any horse transporter & they'll quote you without obligation

If you are visiting the vet as part of treatment thats being paid for on insurance you may be covered for transport costs anyhow. Worth checking with your insurance company.
