Horse transporters, Cambridge?

I think he'd disown us! He certainly wouldn't man the camera if we did! He'd probably also tell me I was a big, fat fraud as I was too chicken to apply to Cambridge.

If anyone has an empty space in a box for a grouchy ginger beasty, I can provide fuel money and diet coke! ;) And some college stash....

Vallin and I have on/off planned to go to the beach for the past couple of summers and have been thwarted by the French one's (Vallin's mare) legs. Can't afford a box on my own (plus it'd be no fun on my own, no one to hoon with! :D)
 
I will always be a cambridge person at heart, I went to essex the other day and thought it was hilly :eek: ........ok so maybe I just count as fen folk. AND if its next summer I will be a cambridge folk again :p.
Wonder how the yellow one would take to moving water ....... should provide you lot some entertainment any way.
 
Lol! I love how this plan is coming together, when both Jess and I still need to actually buy a box each, and also the small matter of me needing to buy a new horse to ride on said beach! :p

heeheehee, this is true, but if there's enough of us we can hire boxes and just share the cost :D
 
I'm sure between us we can share lifts I will probably have a space for someone.

Puppy get your bum in gear and find your self a horse so we can all go to the beach :p :D.
 
I can't come to Rampton with BH because I don't have transport (same old same old) but am totally up for popping over for a bacon sarnie.
 
Gah! I think I'm off to Blenheim that day, doh! :(

(Although woo, at going to Blenheim for the first time in a few years :D)

I was going to ride there as its only 4.5 miles from us along either the busway or Lamb's Cross Byway (I know its slightly further for you though, but may be worth checking? How fit is BH?)

I was originally going to share a box over with Vallin though, so if you wanted to hire something I'd be up to split the costs on that.

BH is not terribly fit at the moment. I may be able to persuade one of the girls on the yard to take us. She is umming and ahhing about going anyway so I could lean on her. If it wasn't for the crossing the scary road bit I'd hack there but I'm not sure BH can cope with the fly over without his black cob friends.
 
If you're ever going on a mass outing to the beach I'll come - I'd love to meet my new wife (LOL) :D Or more accurately, any excuse for a mad blast on a beach ;)

It amuses me that I deduced Cambridge from a mention on another post - not the entire thead you started with CAMBRIDGE in the title...
