As title, really, went up to the yard and Dylan had demolished his faithful old Saxon turnout rug :( I bought it for £50 over five years ago and he's never even scratched it before, so I can't really complain, I suppose ... but it's a pain in the a*se, he'll need to be out naked until Friday when I can buy him a new one.

Really annoying thing is I bought the detachable neck for it last year, so I'd like to get a new one that'll fit that neck, because it's still in great condition.

Grumble grumble.

Nothing bugs me more that this. I have a rug trasher. If she didnt shiver when naked she would be naked. I always buy cheap lightweight waterproof sheets to go over the top of all of my rugs. Saves a lot of rugs and also extra waterproofness for your rug

Horses - don't ya just luv 'em?
I feel your pain - my previous horse was a rug trashing expert. Thankfully Jerry has been a little kinder to his rugs.:D

Rug trashers unite ... last year he had a fly rug that lasted 3 weeks, and a rainsheet that lasted 10 days. He seems to need miniskirt-type rugs, anything deeper and I think he gets his legs tangled and wrecks them!

Grumble grumble.

Friends horse undressed himself last night, took his rug off somehow, undamaged with all buckles, clips still fastenned. He has done this before when hes too warm, maybe your boy was too?
