I had left a goose egg on the bench next to the stable. DD's horse sniffed it, then quickly bit it. The look on his face - priceless.

What things has your horse tried to eat?

Hen fruit! Each of them has tried, at least once, to mug us for eggs as we're carrying them past:D

Ha ha! Awesome! :D
Mine sneezes when he nicks my salt and vinegar crisps :D He also spent about 5mins taking every item out of my mum's grooming kit once to get to a sliver of carrot lickit.... he didn't like it and mum's entire grooming kit was strewn all over the place ha ha! :D

dog kibble, all the animal feed is kept outside and when I go to get the dogs dinner horses are in there going for it, Tommy is the only one who actually trys it, and there are some strange faces pulled over it

....baby bird, fell out the nest one of mine ate it. I like to think it was already dead and it was featherless. Don't quite know what possessed him to eat it!

Daughters pony isn't food orientated when it comes to normal stuff, she'd rather play than graze & the way she picks at hay & feed would be a nightmare if she wasn't such a ridiculously good doer. But she loves odd food. Not just stuff like brews, sandwiches, bics etc. Although she did get to the buffet at a bday party & chose the sausage rolls & egg mayo butties over sliced Apple & carrot. She actually loves wormer, of any kind, cribox, cornucresine, hoof oil, sun tan cream & other odd things. She'll also happily lick up soapy water & shampoo drips when bathed. And although she doesn't eat it, she'll pick up & play with saddlesoap & tack cleaning sponges. She's just odd.

Mine don't think much to meat, but once I was eating a spicy pot noodle (I hate spicy, so was going to chuck it ! someone gave me it :p ) and my pony kept nudging me so I gave her a little bit, she pulled a face but ate it and started waving her leg for more ! (she says 'please' with her legs )
