Hey just doin an assignment on he musculoskeletal system of the przewalksi horse and the wolf and comparing how they survive as predator and prey any ideas?xxxxxxx

Heres a few ideas-
Horse - stifle locking mechanism allowing it to sleep standing up. Large sinuses in head to reduce weight so can be lifted from ground quickly. Not strictly musculoskeletal but position of eyes allowing 360' vision. Very mobile ears to pick up noise from all directions. Dentition suitable for grazing animal.
Wolf - Position of eyes allowing better focusing than horse. Dentition suitable to grab and tear meat. Massive scrolls of bone in nasal cavities to increase sense of smell. Able 'rotate' lower limb so can grasp prey (difficult to describe but hope you know what I mean).
I'm sure I'll think of more as the day goes on.
Good Luck - sounds an interesting assignment.
