Hi, I'm trying to find out more info on what welfare guidelines are used by some of the yards set up for EAT etc in the UK and abroad. Waiting on email replies from some of them but thought I'd check on here to see if anyone knows anything.

I'm researching the cost-benefit of what the clients get from the experience and what effect this has on the horses.

Any advice willingly taken!

I am interested in the welfare aspects as well. I have seen some of the EAGALA work and tbh have concerns about how the horses are used. I am not concerned about horses being used as a reflection (non interactive) of the humans and that as a basis for insights and counselling but I do worry about horses being moved, herded, caught, head collared etc. with no instruction by non horse aware humans.
