horse with a cough

horse had discharge now has a cough ,just maybe once, then maybe a few hours later he has no known allergy etc, how did you treat your horses cough ,how bad was your horse and how long was it before he was 100% thanks im having such a few month with him with illness one thing after another, thanks

What's his breathing like, both at rest and after exercise?

What kind of cough is it?

Hug and hot choccy.

bump))) cough is maybe sometimes twice some times single as a human would cough , trying to describe best on forum one day hell have a discharge, next he wont known horse for two and a half years never had a cold /allergy

when he does have a discharge, what colour is it? Is it equal from both nostrils? does it have any smell?
