In one of the first jumping lessons with Lucky my TB, he stopped in front of the pole, pushing it onto the ground with his nose and then walked over it.

Had a little pony that used to do that years ago, had to make the fence look really solid which meant couldn't ever put it up too high as ran out of poles. Clever horses
