Horse with Headaches - ideas?

Just a follow-on to my post in Vet section;

Does anyone have an ideas what do give/do for a pony with a headache?

Strange I know but the physio says he has one permanently and you can feel heat in one place about his right eye.

I wonder if getting some cranio help may be an idea....

Don't know what to do for him, bless his heart, and I want to help him!

Sounds as though he has a sinus infection. Get your vet to scope him and see what you find.
If the vet finds nothing then sack the physio.

Could not agree more, a friends horse was really moody and naughty all the time. I did not see her for months, then when I did she told me he was a different horse, he had something done to his sinuses and was no such a good boy and so happy in himself

Headaches can be caused by liver problems. My Aunt's shetlandx had problems and she was told he had a headache - when she had his blood tested it revealed he had problems with his liver and further tests comfirmed this.

I agree, you vet needs to consider a sinus infection.

If that's not it, it could be a tooth causing an infection, they can sometimes be hard to detect.

Good luck!
