Does anyone know of any horses that have been treated for kissing spines that have gone on (or continued) to compete at top level?

or, once diagnosed, is the horse always resigned to a easier competition life?

Well what's "top level" mean? My sister's best friend competes her horse at (currently) Intermediate eventing and is looking to do a 2* this year and hopefully 3* next year. He's 10 or 11 now I think and it's maybe 3 years since his op? He's called Nomad Rush and has done pretty well by all accounts really.

I guess that i mean if a horse is treated for KS (either sugically or medicated) then should it then be able to perform as well as it would have done as if it didn't have KS in the first place? or will it always cause a bit of restriction somehow as to how much the horse can then go on to do.
