horse with large white face marking... does it affect showing.

well i showed a pic to a friend on yard and first words were judges wnt take kindly to the markings so what can i do with this little one even tho i dnt really care hes just a new playmate for us

I wouldn't worry too much, generally things like that depend on individual judges (one judge at a local show a lot of people on my yard go to has a particular dislike for greys for some reason

), apart from some breed classes where they prefer them not to have a lot of white markings on them or something like that? No idea on which classes to do with him, he looks lovely though

Lots of greys have black skin on their noses though ........ and I suppose lots dont

Two of the three greys on our yard dont need sunblock on, and me with a black horse have to colour him in white or else he has a burned schnozzz

I even had to put it on this morning when he was in the stable..... he kept putting his head out into the sunshine

yup i hae 2 chestnuts with nice white markings and a dartmoor that has a pure white legs so i spend a fortune on it anyhooo
