We have decided to sell our 7.5tn lorry and buy a 3.5tn, we like the look of the MD horseboxes in Staffs or can anyone recommend any particular boxes to look at , and any dealers / manufactures (or ones to avoid more importantly !!) we are after one that has a bit of living space so a luton type preferably

When you say 'a bit of living' do you litterally mean 'a bit' as in enough to change in? As you will find it hard to find a 3.5 tonner with much more in it... (without going horrendously over weight)!

Luton type, so coachbuilt yes?

I never went to see MD horseboxes as they were just above my budget. If you want 2nd hand i found www.freewebs.com/traveltwo VERY helpful but dont have actual buying experience of them. Just bought mine from select... Lovely build... just get mecahnics checked before buying (From anyone)... ehem.

There's a G reg with calor gas and a sink on Horsequest at the moment - near Northampton. Doesn't have power steering, but otherwise sounds good.

E (also hunting, but *not quite yet*)

Not advertising, honest, but I know fruity on here has one for sale with awesome living, she's only selling it as wants to be able to travel bigger horses, hers carried her old 14.2hh welsh D fine and has proper living, sink, hob, bed etc. It looks smart too! Its in Bucks though...
