Can anyone recommend / have any experience of any horsebox for manufacturers (non HGV) in the South (Nr Hampshire) I have found Pepper Harrow but have been. unable to access the websites for Galloper or Ian NcNeill. I am not sure if they have stopped trading or are just having problems with websites??

try Prime Horseboxes. A friend of mine used them and they were excellent, and their after sales care was great. They arent hampshire based - they are in Rusper in West Sussex - but worth travelling for quality.

I had mine done here http://www.kmhorseboxes.co.uk/ I'm in Hampshire, but drove to Kent. The Black/blue/Silver 7.5t on their website is mine

Try Tru Leisure, they are based in Kent near Ashford. It is a father and son business. Their after sales care is excellent and they will find you a chassis as well if you want them to.

We have got a 2 horse box built by them and it is brilliant.

My horsebox is from Pepper Harrow, it's a trophy twin. Absolutely lovely box

I have had a Wrens Horsebox for several years now and it looks like new. They will build on whatever chasis you want and source it for you at a good price. Worth having a look at their web site and a chat with John.

I have a trophy Twin from Peper Harrow too & love it- suits me perfectly. Depends what style/living etc you're looking for. Also know people with Wren horseboxes (who have a website) who are very happy with them

I have a 3-horse Wrens horsebox and previously had a 2-horse built by them. I have been very pleased with the quality but I'm not sure whether they are still trading. Their website seems to be down and the phone isn't being answered. John's son (Simon Moss) runs WHB horsebox supplies.

If they are still in business (does anyone know?) I would be interested in a slightly smaller lorry.

I had a lovely Wrens horsebox 7.5 Ton built, but i think it was the last they built. It took a while to be built and then after we picked it up we lost all contact and the website went down. When we finally got through they said that due to ill health they has ceased trading. Its a lovely box, really nicely built. If anyones got anymore info it would be great, it a shame..
thanks

In our experience we would advise anyone to be extremely cautious in dealing with Wrens Horseboxes. See review on Ciao - exactly our experience - great up front - John Moss has all the chat - sold us a box and within 1 month we had to spend several thousand pounds on it - to make it safe and roadworthy. All our attempts to contact John Moss have been ignored and we have had to get a judgement in the County Court.
