Just had a lovely new aluminium floor in my lorry, and the next thing to save up for is a respray.

I love the sort of dusty bluebell colour I've seen, but can't decide what would go with it. Any ideas?

Or any other suggestions, and/or pics to give me some inspiration!

After many years of dreaming of having a new box in whatever colour I wanted, when that dream came true I was stumped!!! It's harder than you'd think choosing a colour, lol! I kept looking at cars thinking "no, no, nope, not that, yuk, urgh...." - when I finally saw one I liked I had to give chase to try & see what make of car it was & try to get a photo! I chased so many that I began to wonder if I'd end up on crimewatch "Have you seen this woman? She has been seen suspiciously chasing people in cars and taking pictures"!!!! ;)
In the end I had a look at the Land Rover website & chose a colour from there - I worked on the theory that Range Rovers etc are big so perhaps the colours would suit a horsebox!! Love the one I chose!
Happy choosing...!! :)

LOL Dazed, think I may be the same! Have looked at LR colours as I love Landies :)

Fairy, I wondered about maroon! Would it look a bit like a certain football club's colours?

Yep, can see this taking a while. Gives me time to save up though!

Not sure how to post a link but the Oakley Horseboxes site has a brilliant range of colours to choose from and you can mix and match and see your choices on the lorry on the screen. Not a good way to describe it but try it, it's brilliant.

Our box was maroon when we got it, faded and patchy. After the corner of the skirt had a close encounter with a brick, leading to it needing a new panel, we decided to pain it ourselves, this is the result ( the stripes and writing are pvc and reasonably easy to apply

How did you get on Sychnant? It shows how easy it is to make a big mistake doesn't it and how sometimes some combinations just look right. When you decide to go for it we will of course need pics!!!

I love the Oakley site - but now I have even more options and really can't decide :D

YorksG, I did consider doing it myself, but we have nowhere undercover and it's either raining or dusty here, so the paint would be wrecked as it dried.

Still love the blue - but there's a sort of dusty pinky plum on the Oakley site which I love... May have to get Photoshop so I can colour in MY actual lorry to get a better idea. I'm overthinking this... :D

I always like blue and yellow first

then poppy red with silver or royal blue with silver

I always favour a bright white strip just to help a lorry stand out in poor visibility myself, having been hit by someone who reasoned they didn't see me trundling along in front of them!
