I know its done to death but .... i'm looking for a new box

Anyone know of any good dealers/manufacturers that have decent second hand ones for sale? Have phoned a few and not got anywhere.

7.5 ton, 3 horse, usual living requirements inc toilet and show - Budget of about £25K

I hate looking for boxes so much its untrue!

I visited Priory Horseboxes yesterday. They were just the nicest bunch of people, really helpful and seemed to offer a really genuine, old fashioned service. I wouldnt hesitate to buy from them if they have what you are looking for.

I've had three off of Priory Stud, over 20 years. I had some problems with the last one, over a few months & to their credit they kept trying to resolve the issues until it was sorted. Can't say fairer than that!

Prime Horseboxes, Freddie Gover, Peper Harrow. These are South East and who I have been having a nose at. I have a 3.5 from Foxy Twin at the mo, they also make some bigger ones.

Eek. Neighbour is having a lot of trouble with this firm, over a new and very substandard 3.5t. Think it's going down the legal route now, been going on for ages. Be very careful.
This did get resolved, after a fashion. Alexanders eventually, after much legal input, bought the sub standard box back off her, but for much less than she originally paid, so she still made a substantial loss on it. Think it was a 4.5t, not a 3.5t as I previously posted.

She now has a new 7.5t build from another manufacturer, which she is delighted with.

Badminton horse boxes, thoroughly recommend them. I was messed around by horseboxseller, who just didn't seem to want to sell me a box. Badminton horseboxes found me exactly what I wanted and paid great attention to detai, would definitely recommend :)

I know lots of people (myself included) who have bought off them with a shed load of problems!!

I was going to say, when I was looking I was told to stay clear of them!

I found Central England Horseboxes quite helpful, although I ended up buying one off Freddie Gover Horseboxes. They don't often have 2nd hand ones in, but they will sell on client's lorries who are buying new builds from them. The lorry I got was exactly as described (I got Brad at Bicester Horsebox Hire to check it over - well worth the money!!).
