Horsebox floor - What thickness?

What thickness is your horsebox floor?

I have just replaced the floor in mine and used a 9mm ply under sheet with an 18mm ply top sheet. so total thickness is 27mm. Is this enough? It will have rubber matting on top.

My husband builds horseboxes and says that what you have is plenty. He did say if you use less than 17mm rubber,be prepared to change it regularly- however it is heavy!
