Horsebox for 3 ponies ???

Hi

I have sat on the net for ages today, looking for a horsebox that is still quite small but can carry 3 ponies.

Does such a thing exist?
Any ideas appreciated-tku x

yes most 7.5 tonners will carry 3

but 7.5 tonne's isnt small & a lot of pople now cant drive them without an additional test.

Well that really depends on the size of the ponies. Section A's or 14.2's. if you are trying to get a 3.5 ton lorry, you are going to find it very hard to get a lorry that will be legal for 3 x 14.2 ponies. There will be a small selection of 5.0 or 6.0 ton lorries around, that you can alter the partitioning. Ifor Williams make a fabulous large trailer that will take 3 big horses.

Point taken but if you want something you have to work for it IE want to carry more payload than is possible in a 3.5 ton then its take the HGV test time...

It would be for a 14'2 a 13'2 and an 11'2, finding all of the horsebox rules and regulation stuff very confusing indeed!

Just wanted something a bit smaller that I could perhaps change the partitioning or something as I didn't want to be driving a beast!!!!

I might look at the Ifor Williams trailer.
